ForScore stops working

ForScore, with a BlueTooth connection to a PageFlip Firefly, turns music pages flawlessly…most of the time. However, MOST of the time is basically useless for the sake of live performances…we need to be able to count on it ALL the time. Numerous times, without warning during a performance, ForScore stops working and either…flips through pages rapidly at random…or…stops turning pages forward at all…or…moves out of the ForScore App and puts something else on the screen in place of my music.

Shutting everything down and re-pairing the BlueTooth connection works sometimes…but not always. The only suggestion I’ve found online is to shut down the access to the Full Keyboard on my iPad (I’m using an iPad Pro, 12.5” - 5th Generation). I’ve turned off the Full Keyboard access and I still have the intermittent failures. Does anyone know how to fix this? Thanks, in advance, for any thoughts.

Thanks for the response, KiltedTim. I did. The developer indicates it is a bug that Apple introduced with an update several Operating Systems back and that they (the developer) have spent an inordinate amount of time and effort showing Apple the problem (which supposedly intermittently impacts any page turning system that emulates key strokes) and requesting that Apple fix it... but their cries have fallen on deaf ears.
