I stopped receiving emails since dec 30 it says connection server on default time out. I tried deleting my account and put back but it didn't work.

What does "it didn't work" mean? Please tell us specifically what you did and what resulted. For some reason your Mac is presumably either sending a corrupted user ID or password or ir is sending them too late and the server is disconnecting. You should be able to easily enter a new email account after deleting the old one.
I updated from Mojave to Ventura all my issues with email was automatically resolved; I feels like my computer slowed down after the installing Ventura. what should I do to speed up my computer I have not stored a lot in this computer since I use iCloud what could have done
