FCP for iPad Doesn’t recognize MXF Files So I was pretty excited to finally get FCP on my 12.9” iPad Pro so I could do initial layouts, etc., then transfer to FCPX on my iMac. So, I created a project and tried to import files that are MXF format only to get a red screen with the “Puzzle - Exclamation” logo. MXF files can be imported into FCPX on my iMac but not FCP on my iPad. I certainly hope Apple corrects this.

How do I open an .fcpevent file in FCPX 10.6.4 I have a project from 2014 that I desperately need to open in my current version of FCP. I have the .fcpevent file from the original project as well as the: Original Media, Render Files, Shared Items and Transcoded Media folders for this project. Please I can't seem to see a pathway from inside FCP. I need this for a college class I'm teaching. Thanks.
