Just bought an upgrade to storage to upload the pics from my phone so I can reset it but it’s still saying storage full when it’s only 5.3gb used out of 50gb

Hello Confused236,

Thank you for reaching out to Apple Support Communities.

Let's turn off iCloud photos, restart your device and turn it back on:

"Turn on iCloud Photos

Make sure that you set up iCloud and sign in to iCloud with the same Apple ID on all of your devices. If you have a PC, you need Windows 7 or later and iCloud for Windows.

On your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

  1. Go to Settings > [your name].
  2. Tap iCloud.
  3. Tap Photos, then turn on iCloud Photos."

More details can be found here: Set up and use iCloud Photos

If the issue persists, can you provide a few more details? What is your exact iOS version?

Cheers!
