hyperlink to document( keynote to pages)

As a teacher, it would be very helpful to be able to hyperlink directly to related documents (pdf or pages) from my keynote presentations. I know how to hyperlink to other slides or websites but not local (icloud or hd) elements. Is there a way to do this? I'd like to keep project materials together and only pull up the related documents as needed when showing the initial presentation. Example: art project criteria, examples, how-to... the rubric and appreciation documents would come later but i'd like to keep the links to all items together. Does that make sense?

TIA!

Apple does not provide file hyperlinks in Pages, Numbers, or Keynote. Only webpage, emails, and internal document bookmarks are supported.

If you have a need to achieve the first sentence then consider Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint which were designed to link to external documents. The free LibreOffice can do this too since it is an MS Office clone.
