Apple Watch not tracking distance or mph

My Apple Watch of 2 years has stopped tracking my total distance and average speed on my bike rides. All other data including the map route of my ride, calories, heart rate, etc are displayed. I checked the settings on both my phone and watch that were suggested on previous messages and restarted both the watch and phone afterwards but still no distance and speed results. What else can I check?
