JW Library Download Location on MACs with M1 or M2 processors

I saw someone asking where the files from JW Library were being downloaded?

Gandorf100’s asked this on another thread...

They get saved to /Users/USER/Library/Containers/JW Library/Data/Library

Then inside they are organised under Publications Folder (to get access to the images referring to each paragraph), or Media Folder, where the Videos and Musics are downloaded to.

I hope that this helps!

Hi, my pleasure to help!

I don't think that you can change the location, it might be a limitation of the IOS apps.

Remember that this is originally an app developed for iPad (i.e. iOS), not for MacOS.

The Windows apps are different, they were developed for a desktop environment.

They might add that functionality at some stage, but currently, that feature doesn't exist for macs.

All the best, and I hope that you can have a blessed day 🙏

Thank you so much your help!

But can I change the saving location as I want?

For example, I've just removed & re-installed the app, and copied it to a USB drive right away.

But as soon as I open the app, it just made another folder at the exact same location.

I hope someday the developers make it possible as in the Windows app in an easy way.

If you have any idea on this, please share with me.

Thank you!
