Screen time not limiting apps

How is this possible? Snapchat daily average of over 2 hours, but screen time set to limit of 1hr for all apps.

iPhone 13 Pro, iOS 16

That is a strange thing to occur, especially since there's a limit for one hour. Let's rule out some possible causes, along with confirming more details to better understand what's happening:


  1. When did this first start to occur?
  2. Have you noticed this occurring with any other apps besides Snapchat?
  3. Sometimes unexpected behavior can be resolved with a restart: Restart your iPhone
  4. We see you have iOS 16 installed, but the latest version is iOS 16.2. You can verify this within Settings > General > About. In case you needed it, this link shows how to first back up, then Update your iPhone or iPad.
