iPhone 14 Pro Backlight

My iPhone 14 Pro screen will not turn off when not in use. It stays lit up continuously. How do I change the settings for it to be completely off (like previous iPhones)?

See this support article:--> Use Always-On display with your iPhone 14 Pro or iPhone 14 Pro Max, specifically the section "How to turn Always-On display off or on".

When done, restart your iPhone.

Check also the time setting on AutoLock option in Settings>Display&Brightness.
