Blue pin messing up format of entire Pages

I made a visual map of a historical period, and it was going well until an unremoveable blue pin/ text box appeared on my doc. Whenever I copy or past anything in, it takes me to the pin instead of where I am and whenever I click on the doc it takes me to the pin. Its in a certain region of the doc, almost like an invisible, undeleteable text box. When I Cmd+A, it doesn't appear either. Help!!

Hello thuuuura,

It may be tough for us to pin point where this invisible box may be located or how to remove it.

However, we'd suggest the following steps:

  1. Save the document: Save and name a document in Pages on Mac
  2. Update your Mac: Update macOS on Mac
  3. Then check for any update for the Pages app and get it updated: How to manually update apps on your Apple device

After this, reopen the document and try locating this missing/invisible text box. In case the issue continues, can you use the cursor and select in specific spaces around the document where it keeps pulling you back to this box? This only happened to this document, not others? As that would help us to narrow down the issue further.

Hoping to hear how it goes, take care.
