Critter image stays on screen all the time.

My mother in laws phone has this image that is always upfront and never goes away. It’s the last thing to disappear when powering off and the first thing when powering on. Something is definitely not right about this. Has anyone ever seen this?

Hello RyanRPhoto,

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities.

Can you provide more details about the image that appears when powering up or turning off the iPhone? Is it a photo from her Photo Library or a Wallpaper she’s using?

Since restarting the iPhone doesn’t seem to remove it, see if a forced-restart will. Here’s how: Force restart iPhone - Apple Support Be sure you follow the steps for the type of iPhone she owns.

Please let us know the results when you're able.

All the best.
