I can’t download apps

When I try to download an app, my gmail address shows up, not my iCloud email. So, the attempt is unsuccessful.

In settings, iCloud is set up to be the address for apps etc.

I can’t figure this out.

It sounds like there may be an issue with the way that your iCloud account is configured on your device. Here are a few things you can try to fix the problem:

  1. Sign out of your iCloud account and then sign back in: Go to "Settings" > "iCloud" and tap the "Sign Out" button. Then, follow the prompts to sign back in to your iCloud account.
  2. Check your payment information: Go to "Settings" > "iCloud" > "iCloud Account" > "Payment Information" and make sure that your payment information is correct and up to date.
  3. Restart your iPhone
  4. Restart your router.
