Can't send photos to non-iPhone users
I can text with non-iPhone users from my iPhone but my pictures, videos do not go through with my new iPhone 14 pro. I can, however, send photos and videos to folks with iPhones.

Images go through 50% of the time for me. I have MMS activated. I don't know what it is, but it ****** me off.
Same issue with my iPhone Pro AT&T. I've tried everything Google referenced. Toggling MMS/SMS, Reseting Network Settings, Updating Everything, Toggling BlueTooth, Rebooting, etc.
I'm on the newest version of iOS (17.1) on all my systems, and every time I attempt to send a picture to an Android Phone (or a group text with an android phone) I get a message failure.
Hoping for some updates.
You need to contact your carrier. You need to request that they turn off MMS/Group Messaging. Restart your phone and have them turn it back on again.
Even though it says it's active on your phone, it's not actually active with your carrier.
To clarify, have my carrier turn “Off” MMS messaging? Or have them turn “ON” MMS messaging?
Turn it off in their system. Then, after you've restarted your phone, they should turn it back on. That should get it unstuck.
UPDATE: I just updated my MacBook Pro, and I’m unsure if this is a correlation of causation?
However in the middle of the update, the pictures through to Android miraculously started working!
Respectfully, @IdrisSeabright, that’s not the whole story. That’s the most often cited solutions and while it has worked for some folks, it’s not universal. After a cumulative 9 hours on with different Verizon techs and about an hour with Senior Apple techs, it’s clear that there’s an unusual bug in the mix somewhere and the engineers are aware of it but haven’t found a solution. In the penultimate 16.X iOS release, Apple changed the way it handled MMS preferences/settings and some of the issues seems to stem from that. The cold hard pill is that there is no quick fix for this issue as of right now.
Another indication that this isn’t purely a Carrier issue: MMS picture messages send from my iPad and MacBook Pro, both of which use the iPhone to relay messages. So the Carrier service is working. But the function does not work on the iPhone.
I too have done this and solved nothing.
Unfortunately, while the problem was fixed on my phone, it persists on my partner's iPhone which is on the same carrier and account as mine, and still persists on our housemate's iPhone( which is also a 14, like mine) but on Verizon, he spent hours with them, only for Verizon to give up and blame Apple. My solution? Got my partner an Apple, so we can iMessage together, and anyone on Android I use Signal, or my work Samsung. Sucks but there it is. Not a carrier problem, and Apple won't take responsibility. Why, so people like me would get another iPhone to save the headache (which I did!).
Wrong. been on the phone with Verizon for hours & they still have no idea what to do. no fixes suggested in the last 8 pages have worked either so explain that Apple loyalist?
But it doesn't for multiple users so i would take this persons advise with a grain of salt. They have sent the same BS through 11 pages of conversations & none of what they are saying works. IdrisSeabright & some other Apple loyalist just continue to say the same BS with no real help!
