How do I stop the apple/bill 866 712 7753 number from making transactions from my card?

From what I read on Google, it sounds like this group somehow got access to your credit card number. Call your bank and have them cancel the card and send you a new one. That will stop the charges because they will not have your new CC number. I had to do that a couple times over the years.
But I had just got a new debit card just last week but I was wondering if you go on your settings and your media and purchases and turn on password when you are purchasing something with your card would that work instead of replacing the card? and also how do I get back my money?
