FaceTime logo in upper left corner while on device

Hello,

Ever since updating to newest iOS version, whenever I’m on a FaceTime call on my iPad, there’s a FaceTime logo also on the upper left corner of my iPhone. I’m used to looking there for the clock at a quick glance. Is there anyway to keep my iPhone from putting the logo there so I can still see the time rather than pulling the notifications center down?
