How do I add an activity that is not on my list of activities I.e - outdoor rowing.

Wouldn't indoor rowing pretty much be the same as rowing anywhere? Rowing is certainly an activity available for Apple Watch --> Workout types on Apple Watch - Apple Support
It says indoor or SIMILAR activity.
