How can I convert Decimal to Binary with the calculator?

To convert a decimal to binary, select the number 10 button, enter the number you want to convert to binary and click on the "Show Binary" button in the middle and look at the binary ruler below the input area. It will show the binary representation of the number you entered. It starts at the bottom right corner.

To convert to hex, select the 16 button and it will convert the entered number to hex.

You can also click on each of the entries in the binary ruler to enter a number in binary, and it will convert it to whatever is set to for the number display above.

Phil gave great answer but also you need to enable "Programmer" mode first by clicking on Menu item, "View".
