Airdrop share failed

Apple has not, to my knowledge, published any information concerning limits to the number of files that can be transferred using AirDrop as a single action. That said, there are likely to be both practical and technical limitations - such as available RAM to process the instruction.

Attempting such a large single transfer is perhaps not advisable. Splitting the task into smaller chunks would be more likely to result in successful transfer.

Hopefully the smaller number of files will resolve the issue. Perhaps contrary to expectation, multiple transfers of a small number of files will often complete much more quickly than the equivalent number of files in a single transfer.
