Draft no preview

I have a number of emails in outlook that are in the deleted folder. They show as

(draft) unknown No preview available - sometimes they have a little icon a bit like contact icon.

I think these are emails that are being sent form a iPhone. I think they content is a photo, this is just a gut feeling. Could enlighten me as to why there is no preview? and can something be sent form a iphone in the outlook app and not be seen when logging in to outlook on a lap top?

Thanks

Just trying to help you as I also use the Outlook app.

I see similar stuff except that they are usually in communication threads that I have going with people.

I haven't ever noticed them in my Deleted folder.

When I see these type of things, I can always recollect that I've started to reply from within the app and then aborted and moved to my PC (usually due to my preference of using a real keyboard).

As far as your last question, "and can something be sent form a iphone in the outlook app and not be seen when logging in to outlook on a lap top?"

I see everything.

You might consider running this topic by the Outlook app developers as it's more of an Outlook question than it is an Apple question.

You can easily do that by following these steps:

  1. Open your Outlook app
  2. Click on the "Inbox" heading (or whatever the heading is for the folder that you are currently viewing)
  3. On the left side of your screen and down towards the bottom, there is a question mark inside a circle, click on it.
  4. In the next screen, under Help & Feedback, click on "Contact Outlook Mobile Support"

Hopefully they will be able to provide you more details than I've been able to.

Good luck and have an excellent day ;-)
