How do I stop Siri from texts I receive?

Hello discolovechild,
Thank you for using Apple Support Communities. If you're using Announce Notifications enabled on your iPhone, Siri will read text message notifications. For more details about this feature, click here: Announce notifications with Siri on AirPods or Beats - Apple Support
To disable this feature, follow these steps here:
1.) Open the Settings app.
2.) Tap Notifications.
3.) Tap Announce Notifications.
4.) Turn OFF Announce Notifications.
