air play code
when I try to mirror my ipad to the tv, I am asked for an air play code - no idea where to get it
I did enable the automatic air play connection in settings - no luck

To what device are you trying to stream? Do you have an Apple TV box, or is your smart TV AirPlay-enabled, or do you use a Roku device?
The receiving device will have AirPlay settings with Allow Access preferences that may include a password. You can set a new password there, or remove the password requirement. When the password requirement is disabled, then you should get a 4-digit pairing code on the TV screen when trying to use AirPlay.
