Agree with IdrisSeabright. You know the person who sent it, which more than anything else says they were just trying to be funny.
But my earlier statement is true even if you don't know who sent it. Just like spam emails, at one point or another, we all get spam text messages. Just as spammers blast out millions of copies of the same spam to a list of email addresses they have, text spam is the same thing. It's just a list of phone numbers they use to send out the same spam to every number they have.
Many of the emails or texts don't go through because they don't check to see if they're all valid addresses or phone numbers. And they don't care how many come back as undeliverable. All they care about are the ones that do go through and then wait to see who falls for them by responding.
All of that means an email is just an email. A text is just a text. No different than junk mail from the post office that's addressed to "Current Resident". They're meaningless junk that has zero connection to being hacked. Just as you would with junk postal mail, you throw it away and pay no more attention to it.
