Sunrise/sunset not displaying times

The past few weeks I’ve noticed on my watch face it just says the words sunrise/sunset instead of showing the times like it used to. When I click on it, it shows my current location and the times, but I shouldn’t have to do that, it used to work fine. I think the latest update screwed it up.

Hello punkinfunkin,

Check if you have privacy settings set up to allow the Apple Watch Faces to use your location in the following settings:

  1. Go to the paired iPhone
  2. Go to the Settings app
  3. Tap on Privacy
  4. Tap on Location Services
  5. Make sure 'Apple Watch Faces' is Allowed 'While Using the App'

You can also tap on 'While Using the App' to set up Precise Location.

If that doesn't work, try setting up the complication again.

  1. Go to the Watch app
  2. Tap on the Watch Face under My Faces
  3. Change the complication for the top right to something else.
  4. Then change it back to Sunrise/Sunset
  5. Test it out

Should you continue to have issues, did you have Location Services enabled for Apple Watch Faces? Which watchOS version are you using exactly? Tell us more, so we can get on the same page and we'll continue to help out.

Wishing you well, take care.
