Payment language iWatch switches

Since a few months when ever I pay in a restaurant/shop/store/etc. using my iWatch the language in the third party console is either German or Spanish. Neither of these languages are in my preferred list of languages. I have checked the settings in iPhone, settings in the banking app itself, settings of the iWatch. All my languages are Dutch and English UK. None are set to German and/or Spanish. Is there a hidden setting somewhere?

How do I fix this? It’s quite annoying, it seems to be perfectly alternating between German/Spanish.
