Can't change my wife from "Adult" to "Parent/Guardian"?

Somehow, my wife ended up as an 'adult" on our account. I am the "organizer". I go into Family Settings on my iPhone and toggle "Set as parent/guardian" into the "on" position. I click "back," and she is right back to being listed as "adult." It is kind of maddening. Any ideas?

If the settings you're choosing for changing your wife from an adult to a parent/guardian in your Family Sharing group aren't saving as expected, let's start by making sure your iPhone is updated to the latest software version, which is iOS 16.2.
