Apple Magic Keyboard-Arabic

Hey everyone,

I have MacBook Air M1. I needed an application which is not supported by macOS. So it downloaded virtual machine software (UTM), and then I installed virtual Windows 11. However, typing in Arabic has become a nightmare as letters don’t match the actual keys. In English letters and numbers do match but I have not tried the functions keys such as F1, F11, etc. is there anyone willing to help me with remaking the Arabic letters?

Does that happen with all Windows apps, or just the one you need? In any case I guess you would to ask in a Windows forum or one for UTM why custom keyboards are not being recognized properly.

I don't know if setting your Mac input source to Arabic PC would be any help. You would need to get an external PC Arabic keyboard to have the printing on the keys match the output.

Thank you so much for your immediate action and prompt reply! Unfortunately it did not work. Every thing goes well, such as download, installation, assigning MAC layout Arabic as a keyboard. However, the Arabic language does not appear in the taskbar as an option to switch between Arabic and English. I repeated the process with Egyptian Arabic, Saudi Arabic, and chosen MAC Layout Arabic as a keyboard, none has worked out. If I return the original Arabic (101) as a keyboard for, for example, Saudi Arabic, then Arabic appears in the taskbar as an option, but, as said earlier, letters and keys don't correspond.
