compatible apps for ios 12.5

The current iOS is version 16, so your iOS 12.5 is 4 major jumps behind the current version. My observation is most developers only support the last two iOS versions (currently 16 and 15). One consequence of this is that it is difficult to find apps for 4-generation old iOS versions. You can still find apps but it is not easy and it will only become harder as developers remove old versions even for redownloading. If you really need to run a particular app then the only solution will be to buy a newer device; preferably one that can run iOS 16 so you won't be back in this situation again in a year from now.
