Hello,
Need some advise here.
I have an iPhone 5s and sometime back in December22 I upgraded IOS to 12.5.6. And no issues.
A week or 2 later. My iPhone 5s cannot charge. Tried 3 different lightning cables still doesn't charge. When hooking to my laptop it doesn't as well until i have on recovery mode the iPhone charges.
My last option is to buy one of the recent models, but having said that, any assistance from anyone I would appreciate it.

Perform a Restart:
A. Try Force Restarting your iPhone:
Save any information that need be. Then perform the restart.

That is a very old phone and my guess is that the battery is failing. If that is the case, installing a new battery is as simple as making an appointment at the nearest Apple Store. If it isn't the battery, they will be able to determine what is wrong...
