Troubleshooting SOS Mode:

A. Why in SOS Mode?:

Because you swiped you finger to the right on the bottom of the Lock Screen.

B Canceling SOS:

Cancel it by replying with the words "pocket tap"

1. Go Here: Use Emergency SOS on your iPhone - Apple Support
2. Scroll to: End a call
3. As it Reads: "If you accidentally call emergency services, you can end the call. Tap the End Call button, then confirm that you want to stop calling."

Because you don't have a cellular network connection to your carrier.
