My credit cards randomly declined using Apple Pay

various of my credit card are randomly declined using Apple Pay. Called bank / Credit Card company and they say 'not to do with them'. Once declined on Apple Pay, I take out my card and it works.

I’m having this probes most often with the Uber app…

Tried removing the card from wallet then re-loading. Worked for a few days then declined.

Can you help?

Why is Apple Pay declining my card even though it works elsewhere? I've added my debit card to Apple Pay successfully, and it shows as active in the Wallet app. However, every time I try to use it at a store that accepts Apple Pay, the transaction gets declined. The same card works perfectly when I use it physically or for online payments outside of Apple Pay. I've tried restarting my device and removing/re-adding the card, but the issue persists. My Apple Pay card keep getting declined, what can I do Each time I attempt to pay in stores with Apple Pay, and I select Apple Pay card in my wallet - hold phone to the terminal and when it prompts me to double click, I do so then I follow the next prompt to hold phone to the terminal and it declines even though I have more than enough money on card to cover the transaction. What can I do? It has happened so often and is so embarrassing that I have a card in hand to make my purchase.
