Apple TV indicated 4k channel on YouTubeTV but didn't actually show it in 4k.

So in my YouTube TV listings, it showed the channel listing as the ESPN 4K feed, but when I played it using my Apple TV box (latest version), and I paused the game, I could see that the game was displaying in HD, not 4k from looking at the icons visible on the screen while pausing. I thought that was quite strange, so I decided to switch back to my LG C2 TV to see what it did. It showed the 4K channel and when checking the icons during a press of the pause button, it indicated it was actually showing in 4k.

So I switched back to my Apple TV box and went on YouTube and looked at a few 4K videos which indicated they were actually playing in 4k. So why would the National Championship not work for 4K when viewing via the Apple TV box and yet work on the LG tv? Strange.
