but no good response. My wife or I will try to turn up our phone volume using the side buttons and it blasts the white noise in the nursery. Apple, I do not want my phone to control my HomePod volume - ever - how do I turn that off?
There isn't currently a feature to prevent accidentally changing the volume of a HomePod that is noticed by an iPhone. Use Feedback - HomePod - Apple to request some form of volume lock or opt out for the remote control behaviour.
