You answered this question by saying that you should get in touch with the game developers, but isn’t Game Center and Apple thing? I’ve got the same problem with a game Ive got a lot invested in, and the game’s hanging because I can’t get back to the login through Game Center. I’ve already deleted the game through Usage and after doing the install over again it goes right back to the hung page…

Yes, Game Center is Apple. But the app developer is the best contact, even if the bug is within Game Center. They (the game developer) can then either isolate the problem or work around the problem or work with Apple to resolve whatever has happened. Without the details of the app usage and whatever wedge-related details are available to them (the game developer) can have access to, the difficulty of troubleshooting this increases.

Is there an add-on VPN client, or add-on security-related app, around? Those can cause issues. Remove, restart, test.
If the app also uses iCloud storage, I’ve seen that get corrupted/confused on occasion, so disable that usage in iCloud settings for that game app, wait a few minutes, force-restart (below), re-enable iCloud, and try again.

But you’re headed for continued discussions with the app developers, and potentially them with Apple. We’re yet further afield here than either the app developers or Apple.
I’ve contacted the developers. They are at a loss as to why I can’t get back to the login page after totally deleting the app. Game Center still has the game information in “Achievements” so there’s definitely still some game history on my iPad. If that’s the case, there’s a possibility that some other type of data that’s still on my device that is contributing to the problem.
Thx for getting back to me and giving this some thought. I’ve got no VPN or security related apps. I’ve turned off iCloud as I don’t use it, but there still might be some info on there from the game. Since it’s off, I don’t know if that would be an issue. As I’ve mentioned, I’ve removed the app through Usage in the general settings, and forced restart as well. There’s still game data in Game Center such as achievements… im at a loss on what to do next and I don’t want to do a complete wipe and reinstall of all my data and apps just to make this work again.
