New MacBook Pro running correctly?

I just bought a new MacBook Pro replacing one I have had for several years. I bought the 16 inch 2021. OS Ventura 13.1 16gb ram I was told it would be blazing fast. It has finished indexing. My main use is for Luminar Neo. Appplying the pre-sets varies, but from a little to a moderate time. There may be some speed increase maybe, but nothing like the blinding speed told me. I am wondering if something has not been activated. Is there a way to check to see if the MacBook Pro is functioning properly? I have the Apple M1 Pro chip
