App disconnects when making an in-app purchase
I use an iPhone 12 Pro with IOS 16.2 installed. When I am using an App (a game I play) and want to make an in-app purchase, it takes me to the Apple Store where I need to enter my Apple password. I complete the purchase with no issues. Then I have to go back to the App I was using (manually by flicking back to it) and I get a pop up message that I was disconnected. I press “ok” to stay in the App. However, my purchase doesn’t appear. I am forced to restart the App several times before the pack I purchased registers - and sometimes it still doesn’t register.
My questions are in two parts:
- Anyone else getting this issue? And is there a fix?
- Is this an Apple / Apple Store issue or is it the App I am making the purchase on?
Its literally “doing my head in”.
