in an imac 2015 4k can I put an external graphics card (egpu) and if so how?

Unfortunately, your iMac model won't work with an external graphics processor (eGPU).
You need an Intel-based Mac with Thunderbolt 3 ports running macOS High Sierra 10.13.4 or later, such as an iMac from 2017, 2019, or 2020.
