Wierd iTunes internet message

Just updated to the latest iTunes. It displays all my music, connects to the store and shows my account info. But when I click on Help it says "iTunes is not connected to the internet". My internet is otherwise fine. I have no other internet problems with any other apps.

Windows, 10

Hi omsonic,

For help with opening the iTunes help page check for any firewall blocks using steps below found in the article here: Allow iTunes in the Windows firewall on PC

"Allow iTunes in the Windows firewall on PC

When the Windows firewall is turned on, it may prevent iTunes from accessing the internet unless iTunes is listed as an exception.

  1. On your PC, go to Start > Search, then search for Windows Defender Firewall.
  2. In the sidebar, click “Allow an app or feature through Windows Defender Firewall.”
  3. Click the “Change settings” button.
  4. Select iTunes.MSI and the Private and Public checkboxes (so they have a checkmark).
  5. Click OK."

You can also view specific port access information in the article here: TCP and UDP ports used by Apple software products - Apple Support

If a normal restart of iTunes and PC don't resolve the issue, find the iTunes guide here: iTunes User Guide for PC

As all other aspects of iTunes work as expected, reach out to Apple Support directly to further assist.
