Samsung TV on HomeKit

Hello I have a Samsung TV compatible with AirPlay. I can’t but my tv on HomeKit app. Can I but my tv on HomeKit like with matter???


Impossible to add a Samsung tv with AirPlay 2 to HomeKit.

Not all TVs that are AirPlay-enabled can be added as a HomeKit accessory. I believe Samsung TVs are among those exceptions.

Matter-compatible devices need to connect to a home hub that is also Matter-compatible. For HomeKit, that means iPadOS 16.1 or later for iPad, tvOS 16.1 or later for the Apple TV box, iOS 16.1 for HomePod/HomePod mini speakers.

There are other solutions through third party bridges (e.g. Hoobs, Homebridge):

but Matter is the more sophisticated solution when the accessory also supports Matter.
