iPhone snooze disappears

My alarm goes off, the notification shows only briefly, often I wish to push snooze but the option disappears too quickly. Started doing this about 4 months ago with an update. How do I fix it? All my alarms are set to be able to snooze. I've read it is because it can see my face and ASSUMES I don't need the snooze, but truly my phone is not THAT smart. Is this a bug Apple should fix? It used to work properly.

Hey there Alradbayer,

We’ll need some additional information to provide more specific support.

You mentioned the alarm goes off, but the notification only shows briefly. Is your iPhone screen unlocked when the alarm goes off? If so, when the alarm goes off, it will appear as a banner and swiping down from the banner will give you the option to Snooze. If any of the buttons are pressed when the alarm is going off, snooze is automatically turned on.

We also see you have a compatible iPhone model, and the latest version is iOS 16.2. You can verify this within Settings > General > About. In case you needed it, this link shows how to first back up, then Update your iPhone or iPad. Updating provides the latest bug fixes.

Cheers!
