"Apple Store" in known Wi-Fi networks

Hi, I know this isn't exactly a "problem" but there wasn't a better place to put this.

Basically, while I was busy sifting through my device settings I came across a list of known networks, featuring my familiar home network, but also a listing called "Apple Store".

Going through the info of that network yields no information for this 'network' aside from a Wi-Fi address which doesn't help much.

I'm a little curious, was this set up on the iPad prior to purchase (3 years ago) to test internet connectivity? That's the only reasonable explanation I can see it being there. Thoughts?

The Apple Store network is exactly what it says; this is the guest network that you will encounter in any of Apple’s physical bricks-and-mortar stores. All your WiFi networks are stored in your Keychain.

Don’t forget, all of your devices that are signed-in to iCloud with the same AppleID - and have Keychain in iCloud enabled - share their saved credentials. As such, if you have in the past visited an Apple Store and used the free in-store WiFi network, this will be saved in your Keychain and shared across all your devices.
