Denied refund

So I was wanting to get into chess and decided to buy the diamond monthly subscription and did the free trial and after that was done I thought I paid for the monthly but 7 days after the payment I find out it was the yearly so I request a refund and get denied and now am asking why am denied since I seem to meet the requirements can I get any help or something I’ve even been asking them and they keep saying cause you don’t meet the requirements and don’t tell me what they are and even worse I asked the chess support and they said they are happy giving the refund and just need Apple to say ok and I see nothing about this purchase being an exception in this receipt
