My smart invert keeps turning on by itself when I turn off my iPhone

Tried it. Phone still does it. Even after receiving a new phone for this same issue.

I did the iOS update but is turn on the smart invert I hate this

same here!! I tried the fix of turning off Smart invert, phone is updated and it won’t turn off. I even tried deleting and re-installing Home Screen and turning smart invert on and off. It still stuck. Losing my mind. Also it worked just fine to turn off and on on my iPad. It’s the iPhone that’s stuck with this setting

You’re a savior!! I’ve been dealing with this issue for years and it even continued when I got a new iPhone (which I restored from a backup). I tried everything else in the thread and this was the only thing that worked. Thank you!!!

This just suddenly happened to me with my iPhone 12pro & iOS 17. It happened when a call came in and I answered it on my MacBook Air and I noticed the screen invert on my iPhone. Very odd to me. I’d like to turn smart invert back on after the reboot. Let’s see what happens!

a while back i picked up my iphone

and it had inverted colours, i turned inverted colours off and it looked almost normal but it still has a strange tint w to other iPhones. also when i take a screen recording it makes it inverted. what do i do?

Thank you soo much.. that fixed the problem and I been turning smart invert off in accessibility/ display, and it kept going back when showing my Lock Screen n randomly would just go back completely, almost thought something was wrong with my phone soo once again thanks so very much

Vikki1986 in other to solve the issue with smart invert keeps turning on whenever I restart my phone this reply has solved my long time issue I have been dealing with.my wallpaper appears negative briefly when my phone is awakened then back to normal and also when I set my phone to light mode my wallpaper completely turns to negative.i watched several videos but still couldn't solve it but this pre-app thing changed everything.thank you so much

OMG! Thank you! I took my phone to an apple certified tech and he couldn’t figure out what was wrong!!!!! I even got a new phone and the setting obviously transferred to the new phone! Your tip works!!! 🙏
