Apple Watch Pairing - Unable to connect to internet
I am having an issue pairing a generation 3 apple watch with my mother-in-law's iPhone. I have reset the watch to factory settings and attempted to pair them, but in the process, I have been alerted that I can't connect to the internet. I have attempted to find a way around this multiple times.
Steps I have attempted already:
- Reset network settings on the target phone
- Hard reset both the watch and the iPhone
- Attempted pairing while the watch is on the charger
- Chosen different languages and regions.
A few times, I was able to get through, and the software update was "preparing," but then the apple watch would restart, and all progress would be lost, bringing me back to a failure to connect to the internet when I tried again.
Any help would be appreciated!
