how to change audio output when using stage manager.

I recently got my Ipad Air 5 and got a dongle to connect it to the monitor. However on doing so it sets the audio output to the Monitor which only has an audio out port but no speaker. I am connected to a bluetooth speaker however it doesnt route audio that way. Is it possible to do so?

iPad Air, iPadOS 16

When connecting an external monitor, iPadOS assumes that the monitor has built-in speakers, or is connected to the monitor via an HDMI AV-Amplifier. As such, audio is automatically output to the attached monitor connection - be it Thunderbolt3, HDMI or DP Alt Mode over USB-C.

Whilst not personally verified, some reports suggest that selecting the Bluetooth audio source prior to connecting the external display may provide a workaround.
