Airpod Pro Case Dying Overnight

I went to bed last night with my airpod pro case at 100% battery, and my airpods inside of the case at 84% battery (not plugged into an outlet). When I woke up, the airpods were at 100%, and the case was at 10%. This happened in the span of 7 hours. What is going on?

This issue may be caused by a malfunctioning or faulty AirPods Pro charging case.

Here are a few steps you can try to troubleshoot the issue:

  1. Make sure that the AirPods Pro are properly inserted into the charging case.
  2. Clean the charging case and the AirPods Pro with a dry, lint-free cloth. Make sure there is no debris blocking the charging contacts on the case or the AirPods Pro.
  3. Try charging the AirPods Pro with a different charging cable and plug.
  4. Try resetting the AirPods Pro by removing them from your ears and placing them in the charging case. Close the lid and wait 15 seconds, then open the lid and press and hold the button on the back of the case until the LED light starts flashing amber.
  5. If none of the above steps worked, contact Apple Support for further assistance. They may be able to help you troubleshoot the issue and provide additional support.

Another possible cause for this issue could be a software problem with your AirPods Pro or your iPhone.

Here are a few additional steps you can try to troubleshoot the issue:

  1. Make sure that your iPhone and your AirPods Pro are running the latest software version. Go to Settings > General > Software Update on your iPhone to check for updates.
  2. On your iPhone, go to Settings > Bluetooth, tap the "i" button next to your AirPods Pro, and then tap Forget This Device. Try to reconnect your AirPods Pro to your iPhone.
  3. Try using your AirPods Pro with another iPhone or iPad to see if the issue persists.
  4. Check the AirPods Pro battery life on your iPhone by opening the charging case next to your iPhone or by checking battery life in the control center.

If you've tried all these steps and the problem persists, it may be best to contact Apple Support for further assistance. They may be able to help you troubleshoot the issue and provide additional support.
