How can I change the ID name on my IPOD to match the ID name on my compt ITUNES LIBRARY ?

On the iPod go into Settings/General/About/Name and type in the name you want to use.
In iTunes, once you can see the iPod:
- if you are using a cable connection between the device and iTunes, click (or possibly double-click) on its name and type in the name you want to to use
- if you are using the Wi-Fi Sync feature, you will have to wait for the Sync to complete, then a single tap on the device name will turn it blue and you can overtype your new name in
