Hello guys, how's it going?
I don't know if this is the right place to ask about this but...
Recently I made the decision to buy a MacBook but I have one question. I'm a Computer Science student and Fullstack web developer. Is a MacBook M1 with 8gb of ram and 512gb of storage enough for both things?

since the RAM and storage cannot be upgraded later, I would probably go for as much RAM as is affordable and not worry so much about storage, as you could always get more external drives later if your need for storage increases.
As a Computer Science student you should ask you University what computer is required for your course of study. You at some point in your studies will need to use a Windows program. New Macs do not run Windows as the old Macs did.
