iPhone / iPad Backup to NAS

I am considering the purchase of a NAS for backups and data storage. My computers are Windows laptops but I have an iPhone 12 Pro, an iPhone 8 and an 8th generation iPad.

Is it possible to back the iPhones and iPad up to the NAS? If not, can he NAS play any role in backing up my ios devices?

Your Apple devices can either back up to iCloud (which precludes the NAS devices), or iTunes on your Windows laptop. If you choose iTunes, perhaps you can figure out how to integrate NAS from the Windows perspective. For example, I back up my iPhone and iPad to my Mac, then I use NAS to house my Mac backups.
