How to turn off Apple Music sing

It's expected for the audio to sound a bit different with Apple Music Sing.

If you’re listening to a song playing with Dolby Atmos and you turn on Apple Music Sing, Dolby Atmos turns off and the song plays without surround sound. If you turn off Apple Music Sing, the song plays with Dolby Atmos.

With that said, you can turn it off with these steps:

1. Tap the player to open Now Playing, then tap .

2. Touch and hold , then drag the slider up or down to adjust the vocal volume.

3. To turn off Apple Music Sing for the song, tap the slider.

I was able to get back to a better version of the music by disabling Dolby Atmos.

Settings>Music>Dolby Atmos>Off

still not the best but better than the half vocals that I was getting

If you are listening to a song and the lyrics are opened on your device you can simply close them. You would need to tap on the song that is playing at the bottom of your iPhone/iPad you can then see a speech bubble with quotation marks in it. If you press the speech bubble, the lyrics will either appear or disappear depending on whether they were on or off prior.

Yes most of my songs sound like they are fading then coming back with the sing on or off lyrics open or closed and its especially heavy on slow songs it sounds horrible i hate that I updated my phone smh i thought it was my headphones for about an hour

Agreed, this feature sounds great in theory, but all my songs sound wonky now. They keep fading in and out. I want the ability to turn this off in settings -- this is so horrible it makes me want to cancel my Music subscription and use an alternate service.

You could also try using another Apple device to see if the issue could be the device. Depending on what you are using the issue could be the Apple device.
