My son got a new iPhone but his screen time restrictions are not working. It says he has 2 iPhones and only 1 is connected but in devices he only has one. Help! It turns off his app limits every single day.

Thanks for reaching out Monkeysmom,

It sounds like your son has two iPhones, and you are having trouble with Screen Time on the newer one. We can help.

It sounds like in Screen Time on your device, both his iPhone devices are still showing up. What did you do with the older one? If you haven't already, you can erase it using these steps so it isn't associated with his Apple ID anymore: What to do before you sell, give away, or trade in your iPhone or iPad.

That way, you should be able to set restrictions for the current device.

Give that a try and see if there's any change.

Hope that helps.

Take care.
